Hey, All

So, I'm up to my neck in the college search process, trying to write and publish my stuff, and all the while trying to maintain some semblance of a life... So of course I start a blog.

Basically what this is going to be is a sort of informal reviewing thing. Mostly anime, but with a smattering of other stuff as I come across it. (I love anything that tells a story). So here are couple guidelines as to what you can expect.

1. I am not a professional, so I'm probably not going to finish things I really didn't like.

2. That being said, any book, movie, or anime I didn't finish can still get the Glance Through treatment (a sort of first impressions kind of thing).

3. Any anime I haven't seen two or more episodes of will not be reviewed AT ALL. I know this might seem harsh, but I think it's actually more fair this way. First anime episodes have the weird tendency to not be anything like the rest of the series, and I would hate to misrepresent even my least favorite anime.

4. I will accept requests, but requesting something isn't a guarantee I'll finish it. I'll try to bite the bullet and watch enough of it to do a Glance Through, though. I will not accept hentai... there just isn't a good way to review it. email requests to for_fear_of_seelie@yahoo.com

5. I'm not a professional, but I'll try to act like it. I'll try my absolute best to remain impartial. At the same time, all reviews are based in opinion.

6. Occasionally I'll do a Looking Deeper segment on something I particularly enjoyed. This will probably look a lot like what Philosotaku is doing on Youtube right now. Basically a picking apart of the  less obvious themes of an anime.

7. Sometimes I'll just have a post on what's going on in my life or writing.... because I'm sure you all care so much.

Okay, now that that's over with, I hope you guys will enjoy this little experiment. Let's go!
